Marching Band gets into full swing after the Fourth of July, with two weeks of Tuesday- and Thursday-evening rehearsals designed to get the season off to a successful start.
Then it’s two weeks of Band Camp, a great way to learn, grow and build bonds with bandmates.
Summer Rehearsals Schedule
Tuesday, July 7, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 9, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Band Camp Schedule
Week 1: Music Focus — Tuesday, July 21 – Friday, July 24, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Week 2: Visual Focus — Monday, July 27 – Friday, July 31, 2:30 – 8:30 p.m.

What to Bring
- Instrument and accessories (reeds, valve oil, drum sticks, etc.)
- Music — All musicians will be provided with a packet of “Traditional” (Stands, Parade and Pre-Game) music at the beginning of band camp.
- 1” 3-ring binder with 50 plastic page protectors to hold music
- Pencil / highlighters
- RED 1/2-GALLON Igloo water jug (Walmart, Amazon)
- Sunscreen
- Snacks will be available, but feel free to bring your own. Additionally, optional FREE breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and lunch at noon will be available in the cafeteria.
- A growth mindset and a positive attitude!
What to Wear
- White drill T-shirt
- Athletic shorts (no jeans)
- Supportive sneakers / tennis shoes (no flip-flops, Crocs or slides)
- Socks
- Hat/sunglasses (recommended)
Where to Go
Dropoff and pickup for rehearsals and band camp is near the entrance to the band room. If you're entering the school from Erie Road, turn right in front of the auditorium, then follow the bus loop to the breezeway. Walk up the ramp and enter the double doors; the band room is the first room on the right.
Donations
It's important to keep our students hydrated and fueled during rehearsals, band camp, football games and competitions.
Water and snacks are our primary needs — those can be dropped off at the entrance to the band room — and we've also put together an Amazon wish list of items that can be purchased and shipped directly to the band.
Friends & Family Show and Barbecue
At the conclusion of band camp, we welcome our family and friends to see what we've learned. More information about this event will be shared as we get closer to the date.
