In Remembrance of "Volt"
To everyone past and present who is a member of the Parrish Community band program, it is with profound sadness that I share the passing of one of the Pride of Parrish Band family’s most dedicated supporters, Mr. Voltaire “Volt” Flores.
For years, Volt and the entire Flores family have been the very definition of selfless service. Whether it was working the concession stand during Solo & Ensemble weekends, loading and unloading equipment, setting the field for football games and competitions, organizing uniforms, repairing trailers, flipping burgers, sewing hems, or simply stepping in wherever help was needed, Volt was always there. If the band needed something, we could count on the Flores family.
His legacy extends even further through his children, Matthew and Sam, both proud graduates of our band program who have continued to give back as members of our instructional staff. Alongside his wife, Teri, whose tireless volunteerism has touched countless students and families, and Sofie, a graduate of the Orchestra program, Volt helped build the culture of service and community that makes the Pride of Parrish Band so special.
On behalf of our Booster Board, our staff, our students, and the entire Pride of Parrish Band family, I extend our deepest love, prayers, and heartfelt condolences to Teri, Matthew, Sam, and all of the Flores family. We will miss Volt tremendously, but we will never forget the kindness, generosity, and unwavering support he gave to our program.
At this time, there are no official arrangements to share. As information becomes available, I will communicate it with our band family.
Please keep the Flores family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,
Mr. Ron Lambert
